My goal for June and July was to finish the revision of my next novel, To Catch a Fox, while enjoying our summer weather. This was a challenge, as my self-editing has to be done on computer and I can’t work on my laptop outside due to the glare on the screen. I managed to reach my goal largely by getting up early some mornings to work and plowing through chapters on our occasional days of bad weather. Last week I completed my revision and sent the manuscript to my editor. Yay! But now my goal for the rest of the summer is to catch up on a multitude of computer tasks I’ve set aside — and continue to spend time outside biking, hiking, hanging out with friends and reading on my back patio.
